On the occasion of the ninth 'National Science and Technology Workers Day,' Jinzhou City focused on the outstanding achievements of science and technology workers. Among them, Zhang Zhihua, the R&D Center Director of Jinzhou Hanna Motor Co., Ltd., has become an outstanding representative of the city's science and technology workers with his remarkable innovative accomplishments and contributions to the industry.
As a member of the Liaoning Province Automotive Parts Industry Expert Committee, Zhang Zhihua led his team to achieve major breakthroughs in the research and development of core components for new energy vehicles. The high-voltage power system of 7.5kV/20kV that he directed filled a domestic technological gap and obtained three invention patents; the 48V BSG mild hybrid project he led successfully broke the monopoly of foreign technologies, placing the company among the top tier of the industry. His team has accumulated more than 20 national patents and has served the motor R&D needs of over ten car manufacturers, including Modern and BYD, advancing the localization of core components for domestic vehicles.
Faced with the wave of new energy transformation, Zhang Zhihua has proactively laid out the development of intelligent driving systems and led the development of the country’s first automotive-grade motor drive module, breaking the foreign technology monopoly. The full-process technical system he established—"simulation analysis—lean design—test validation"—reduces product defect rates and helps Hanna Motors enter the top tier of the industry.
As a leading figure in enterprise technology, Zhang Zhihua focuses on the integration of industry, academia, and research, promoting the implementation of cutting-edge technologies such as electromagnetic analysis and intelligent drives, and has cultivated a high-level R&D team. Many of his innovative achievements have won provincial Science and Technology Progress Awards and municipal Labor Medals, and he has been selected for the Liaoning Provincial Expert Committee, becoming a benchmark figure in the development of industry technology.
The head of the Municipal Association for Science and Technology stated that Zhang Zhihua is a representative of Jinzhou's scientific and technological workers.
