Recently, Jinzhou Hanna Motor Co., Ltd. held the 'Crossing Mountains and Seas, A New Journey for Hanma' launch ceremony in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, officially announcing the establishment of its Malaysian subsidiary.
Jinzhou Hanna Motor Co., Ltd. was established in March 1996 and is the first domestic manufacturer of automotive electrical components with its own technology and independent brand. According to company information, in 2024 the company’s total assets reached 1.902 billion yuan, achieving sales revenue of 1.252 billion yuan and a profit of 40.63 million yuan. The company currently has 533 employees, including 69 technical staff, accounting for 13% of the total workforce.
It is understood that Jinzhou Hanna Motor has been planning its overseas expansion since 2023 and expects to complete full investment in its Malaysian subsidiary by 2025. The Malaysian subsidiary will become an important manufacturing base for Hanna Motor in Southeast Asia, focusing on the production and sales of automotive starters and generators.
Over the years, Jinzhou Hanna Motor has achieved remarkable success domestically, earning multiple honors such as National High-Tech Enterprise, National Enterprise Technology Center, and National Intelligent Manufacturing Pilot Demonstration Enterprise. This venture into the Malaysian market not only showcases the technological strength of Chinese enterprises but will also further promote cooperation between China and Malaysia in the automotive parts sector, adding new momentum to the economic and trade relations between the two countries.
